Will I receive a Certificate of Attendance?

Accepted Answer

Yes - all participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance which will list the number of CEs earned. Certificates are automatically emailed to all participants after the conclusion of the conference.  For the 2027 Conference, participants can earn up to 13 CEUs or Nursing Contact Hours TBD.

Question 2

What requirements are needed on our end to participate in the conference virtually?

Accepted Answer

You will need a computer with access to the internet. All of the conference content will be streamed live via Zoom. You do not need to have a Zoom license/account, but you do have to have Zoom installed on your computer.  You will not be on camera, but you will be able to see all the presenters, as well as their PowerPoints if available.

Question 3

Will documents, slides, and PowerPoint presentations be available to all participants?

Accepted Answer

Yes - any content that has been provided by the presenters will be made available to all participants. Please note that not all presenters will use PowerPoint or any ancillary materials. In addition, some presenters are unable to share their materials due to copyright laws or content that has not yet been officially published.

Will I have access to all the recordings?

Accepted Answer

Yes - all participants will automatically receive recordings to all 45+ sessions. You will receive a link to a secured page where you can download all the materials, approximately 2-3 weeks after the conference.

Question 5

What is your Refund Policy?

Accepted Answer

Conference registrations are refundable, minus a $75 administrative fee, up to one month prior to the start of the conference.  For the 2027 Conference, the deadline to request a refund is March 28, 2027. To request a refund, please email events@spiritualcareassociation.org. After March 28, 2027, registrations are no longer refundable.

Do I need to attend the sessions live in order to receive CEs?

Accepted Answer

Continuing Nursing professional development contact hours will be awarded for nurses attending live presentations ONLY. No contact hours for nurses will awarded for recorded sessions. However, up to 13 CEUs can be earned for other professionals by either attending the sessions live or watching the recorded sessions after the conference.

How many CEs will I receive by attending the conference?

If you attend the entire conference (3 days), you will receive 13 CEUs or TBD Nursing Contact Hours*. The Spiritual Care Association Nursing Division is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. *subject to changed based on conference content

Question 8

Will I get my CEs automatically or do I need to complete a form?

Accepted Answer

All participants will automatically receive a Certificate of Attendance after the conference which will include the total number of CEUs completed. However, in order to receive nursing contact hours for the sections of the conference/symposium you attended, you must complete and submit the CNE Certificate Request Form (the link will be available to participants on the first day of the conference). The CNE Certificate Request Form will remain active for up to two weeks after the conference.  No certificates will be awarded after 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on May 16, 2027.
